Yesterday I delivered the items and cash donations that were brought to the December meeting. When we add the December donations to the ones received and delivered in November, the final count was:

• 51 throws/blankets

• 31 dolls

• 17 hats

• 18 washcloths

• 22 gloves

• Several boxes full of personal care items

• $70 cash/check donations

Friends, these donations are so sincerely appreciated! Many of the residents of these facilities have no support from family and friends. The shut-ins are often managing on a very limited fixed income. These items will not only fulfill a very real need for things, they remind these local seniors that they haven't been forgotten and that they are a valued part of the community.
