Bill and Joanna Bowman are hosting a cruise though the countryside from Lowe’s Foods in Simpsonville to the Cowpens National Park. They have reserved the picnic pavilion for the day so that our lunch will be undercover and private. Bring your own lunch or preorder online from the Cowpens Subway by 10:30 the day of the event to ensure its ready when we stop for the pick up. Following lunch we will watch two videos at the visitor’s center and then there will be a private battlefield tour starting at 1:00. The guided tour is approximately one mile of walking. For those that do not wish to do the walking tour, the pavilion has been reserved until 4:00 so bring a comfy chair and some music, and enjoy the afternoon in the park.

They will be leaving the Lowe’s in Simpsonville at 9:00 sharp so arrive early, bathroom facilities are available inside Lowe’s Foods for your use before they lead us on a two hour cruise “the long way” to the Cowpens park (~72 miles).
